Marketing Programme Manager (Maternity cover – January 2026)

The Marketing Programme Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Retail team with enhancing Dealer relationships and experience by providing systematic functions.

You will be responsible for marketing activity across the UK. You will be expected to coordinate a range of activities including but not limited to managing external agencies, strategic reporting, internal and external communications ad campaign planning.

Collaboration with other departments is essential to this role. The role ensures we maximize the use of various CRM by providing the platform that enables the management of data.

This contributes towards efficient sales processes cross-functionally. Success in this role will be demonstrated through company values (Employees 1st, Best for Customers, Ambition to Develop, Freedom to Innovate & Diversity)

 

Please note this role is to start from January 2026.

Main Job Missions

  • Assist with delivering the annual budget, planning of content and campaigns
  • Maintain and refresh a comprehensive library of key strategic, marketing planning and sales tools
  • Ensure consistency of branding across companywide media to help drive awareness and communications objectives, as well as ensuring quality and consistency in output
  • Manage all communications and branding
  • Manage the external agencies as required to ensure SLA’s and KPI’s are in place
  • Manage and keep the website copy up to date
  • CRM database and system management
  • Efficient and transparent management of all marketing POS stock. Maintaining an inventory and audit trail
  • Project support
  • Being the expert on retail/ operational systems

 

  • Work with key stakeholders in the business to sign off PR activity, ensuring a constant stream of activity
  • Manage internal communications, which includes sending out business relevant emails, assisting other departments with producing internal emails and keeping track of all internal communications. Assist with the company quarterly business updates
  • Provide information on the department that can be fed back to group in reports
  • Oversee the organisations customer database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. Drive engagement and “effective use” of CRM systems in a compliant way. System usage includes but isn’t limited to (e-shot, Hubspot, repairer tools and sales and claim processes)
  • Plan, execute and evaluate CRM campaigns across various channels to drive customer retention and reveal new opportunities
  • Manage all marketing materials to ensure stock is accounted for and kept up to date. Ensure POS stock requests from account managers are justified
  • Conduct training for internal teams on CRM best practices and system usage
  • Support line manager with business projects, that need to be delivered efficiently and to agreed milestones
  • Support retail teams by implementing and driving optimisation of effective CRM touchpoints (new tools, system updates, user guides and process changes)
  • Involvement with the execution of systematic processes to support retail sales and the claims team

Qualifications required for this job:

  • Degree in Marketing
  • Experience as a Marketing Manager

Hard Skills:

  • Marketing background
  • Intermediate Microsoft skills
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Experience running multiple marketing campaigns concurrently
  • Training and support
  • Technical skills (Hubspot, email systems etc.)

Desirable:

  • Some knowledge of dealers or the automotive industry
  • Experience in managing external agencies, specifically PR
