Account Manager (PE / LE postcodes)

As an Account Manager, you should use your creativity and knowledge of our product and sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. You should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with a variety of franchise and independent groups.

Main Job Missions

  • Grow the volume with independent and franchised dealers. Develop and implement the strategy for customer acquisition of Regional Franchised Dealer Groups.
  • Ensure effective use and management of the CRM systems and processes.
  • Report on core KPI for your Area
  • Forecast Sales performance and rectification plan requirements.
  • Manage your Area, ensuring cost control and profitability remain at the heart of your Dealer development activities
  • Provide best practice on the management of Burn Rates
  • Manage Debt in conjunction with the Finance department
  • Work with the Account Executive team, the claims team and other internal departments to ensure we are offering the best possible service to our dealers and their customers

Activities

  • Grow sales volumes to hit targets within the Independent Truck sector
  • Provide outstanding customer service to you customer base.
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Maximise product penetration opportunities for long term relationships, developing new products if necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the RSM team on National and Regional Dealer Group opportunities.
  • Ensure accounts are managed correctly by conducting regular business reviews paying particular attention to claims performance. Also developing and implementing effective strategies for dealers, analysing their performance and suggesting improvement where required
  • Always update and use CRM systems to provide business information and opportunities.
  • Produce and review core KPI for the Area. New business development, penetration rates and loyalty are important aspects
  • Grow beyond just the provision of warranty, maximising all of the Opteven Group Asset Protection products
  • Forecast Sales performance and other KPI
  • Create innovative rectification plan requirements.
  • Continually evaluate the performance of your dealers in relation to Burn rates, implementing rectification plans that may include price increases and their stock management practices.
  • Work with the Finance team on eliminating debt.
  • Collaborate with all internal departments to ensure we offer the most holistic and complete customer and dealer support mechanisms.
  • Departments include but are not limited to Claims, Sales strategy and Customer Service, Marketing, Risk and Pricing
  • Be the advocate for voice of the customer and dealer

Qualifications required for this job:

Graduate level qualifications or similar

Hard Skills:

  • Sales background
  • Customer Account Management
  • Advanced Microsoft skills

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and markets
  • Finance industry background
