Opteven UK retail team goes from strength to strength
Opteven UK has made a number of changes to its retail sales team in recent months. The new appointments reflect a successful expansion for the European leader in warranty and mechanical breakdown cover, and the creation of new roles as well as new appointments highlight the company’s on-going commitment to customer service excellence.

James Barr joined Opteven UK last August as Head of National Programmes after four successful years at AutoProtect Group. He brings with him extensive B2B and B2C sales, marketing and commercial experience and a background in developing and growing sales teams.
Promotions from within Opteven UK include Luke Saunders who has taken on the role of Regional Sales Manager (South), to sit alongside longstanding team member Adrian Argyros who was promoted to Regional Sales Manager (North) in 2021 after 11 years as Account Manager with the business. Luke Saunders’ previous role was Opteven UK’s Sales Strategy and Customer Services Manager; a mantle that he now passes to Nazir Haq, who joined the company after a variety of roles in the automotive industry.
Damien Keegan has been appointed to the newly created role of Dealer Group Manager. Damien was most recently Head of Sales at GardX Assure and brings with him 24 years of experience in automotive, retail and manufacturing with a specialism in finance and insurance. In addition, Mark Harris joined Opteven in December as Senior Partnerships Manager and also has a wealth of expertise, based upon 22 years in a variety of roles within the Renault Retail Group.
The expanded and strengthened team report into Andrew Waite, Retail Sales and Customer Services Director, who commented on the recent organisational changes:
