Lewis Sweet – Opteven account manager for Scotland

Lewis Sweet joins Opteven to serve vehicle dealers across Scotland with warranty and insurance products from Opteven and from partner brands whose warranty programmes we administer.

Lewis joins Opteven with over five years’ experience in the automotive finance and insurance industry in which he visited vehicle dealerships across Scotland. Born in Wales, Lewis moved to Scotland in his role selling products such as PCP, HP, capital funding and GAP insurance. Prior to being in automotive finance, Lewis was a professional golfer and travelled extensively, even visiting the Oxfordshire golf course in Thame, close to Opteven’s UK head office.

Opteven provides its own range of Safe & Sound warranties and insurance products for cars, bikes, vans and HGVs, as well as electric and hybrid vehicles. Opteven also administers a warranty programme for a famous automotive brand and Lewis will be the point of contact or both in Scotland and across the Scottish isles. Lewis already understands the challenges dealers face in turning stock quickly and profitably and the market dynamics presented by conflict in certain regions of the world and other factors that can knock consumer confidence, and that when cost of living pressure is bearing down on consumers, the shock of an unexpected repair bill is well worth avoiding.
