Opteven and RAC Announce Renewal of Strategic European Breakdown Assistance Partnership

Opteven, a leading provider of vehicle warranty and roadside assistance solutions across the UK and Europe, announces the renewal of its long-standing partnership with the RAC, one of the UK’s most recognised and trusted Driving Services Provider.

The renewed partnership, which runs until December 2030, strengthens a collaboration that has been in place for more than 40 years. It combines Opteven’s European roadside assistance capabilities with the RAC’s 128-year heritage in delivering complete peace of mind to 15 million members in the UK . Together, the two organisations will continue to provide seamless and reliable European breakdown services to RAC members travelling abroad.

Supporting RAC Members Across Europe

Opteven delivers all roadside assistance and recovery services for RAC members travelling on European roads, whether for business or leisure, through its dedicated Operational Team based at Opteven’s headquarters in Lyon, France.

Opteven organises roadside repairs, arranging recovery or repatriation where necessary, to RAC’s UK members, ensuring they can either continue their onward journey with minimal disruption or return home safely. To date, Opteven has supported more than 300,000 RAC customers in reaching their destination.
