Opteven Group and Mercedes-Benz Italia sign partnership for the ‘Mercedes-Benz Certified’ pre-owned vehicle programme

Opteven Group and Mercedes-Benz Italia partner for warranties.

Milan, September 9, 2026 – As of July 1, 2026, the Italian subsidiary of Opteven Group is the operational partner managing claims authorization for mechanical breakdown warranties on select pre-owned vehicles from Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG.

This agreement brings together the prestige of the Stuttgart manufacturer and Opteven’s operational excellence.

A strategic alliance in the premium pre-owned vehicle sector

As of July 1, 2026, the Italian subsidiary of Opteven Group is the official operational partner managing claims and repair operations for certified pre-owned warranty programs across Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG passenger cars and commercial vehicles. This initiative pairs the prestige, technological innovation, and engineering quality of the Stuttgart brand with the strength of Opteven’s digital infrastructure and specialized expertise

Mercedes-Benz Certified represents a benchmark in the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) segment, backed by rigorous selection standards, warranty coverage up to 48 months, and European roadside assistance. By taking over the operational management of the program, Opteven’s commitment is to deliver concrete support to the Certified Network of Authorized Dealerships and Service Partners, providing highly digitalized, streamlined management tools seamlessly integrated into sales and after-sales workflows.

Operational efficiency and promptness at the service of the Network

Thanks to a dedicated operational structure, highly automated management and authorization processes, and a widespread field force operating across the region, Opteven guarantees extremely fast response times for the Mercedes-Benz Official Network when handling breakdown claims. This integrated approach optimizes repair times, minimizes vehicle downtime in the workshop, and strengthens end-customer loyalty to the Official Network.

Partnering with a leading manufacturer and global symbol of excellence like Mercedes-Benz is a fundamental recognition of the value of our solutions and processes,” states Giorgio Manenti, CEO of Opteven’s Italian subsidiary. “From the outset, we shared the exact same philosophy with Mercedes-Benz: an inherent focus on quality, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a truly premium service. Being selected as the go-to partner for claims management in a program like Mercedes-Benz Certified confirms the alignment between our organizations and our ability to effectively meet the needs of such a prestigious brand and its Network.

Initial feedback, just a few weeks after launch, is extremely positive: we are seeing excellent workflow efficiency in claims processing and, above all, high satisfaction ratings from the Official Certified Dealer Network. Our commitment is to continue working alongside Mercedes-Benz Italia with maximum responsiveness, transparency, and cutting-edge digital platforms to deliver an outstanding experience.”
