Our new joint venture

Creation of Crédit Agricole Mobility Care Services, joint venture between Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance and Opteven Group.

  • After announcing a draft strategic agreement in September 2023 at the IAA in Munich, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance and Opteven Group, the European leader in service contracts and mobility, are finalising the creation of a joint venture 50-50 owned by the two companies called Crédit Agricole Mobility Care Services.
  • This new structure allows CA Consumer Finance to offer, via all its networks in Europe, an extended warranty and maintenance contract offer, developed by Opteven Group, to its private and professional customers.
  • For Opteven Group, this joint venture strengthens its international development strategy and consolidates its position as a leader in mobility service contracts.
  • The creation of this joint venture supports CA Consumer Finance’s ambition to become the leader in green mobility in Europe.

Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance and Opteven Group strengthen their European strategic partnership.

Opteven Group and Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance announce the creation of a joint venture specialising in vehicle warranty and maintenance contracts, in which the two partners each hold 50% of the capital.

This joint venture, called Crédit Agricole Mobility Care Services, launches the partnership between CA Consumer Finance and Opteven Group in the countries currently covered by Opteven Group. It will also support the efforts of both partners in developing products adapted for electric vehicles.

The solutions developed by Opteven Group – manufacturer’s extended warranty, traction battery warranty extension, dealer warranty & maintenance – will gradually be distributed in the other countries where Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance Group operates via:

  • CA Auto Bank
  • Drivalia
  • Agilauto in France
  • Universal subsidiaries (Agos in Italy, Creditplus in Germany, Sofinco in Spain and Credibom in Portugal)
  • And they can also be used by Leasys in certain countries, in agreement with the company’s co-shareholder, Stellantis.
  • Mobility services: a major part of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance’s automotive and mobility strategy
This partnership is fully in line with CA Consumer Finance’s strategy to develop its Crédit Agricole Mobility Services offer to meet the needs of all customers in the mobility leasing and financing market.

This strategic development serves Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance’s ambition to become the leader in green mobility in Europe and is the foundation for building a mobility programme.

“Our new agreement with Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance is in line with Opteven Group’s strategy to expand internationally into new markets. It will consolidate our position as a leader in service contracts in mobility. We are delighted with this special partnership.” Jean-Matthieu Biseau, President of Opteven Group

“The creation of a joint venture owned 50-50 by our two companies, illustrates the valuable partnership we are building with Opteven Group, which is in line with our ambition to become the leader in green mobility in Europe. This relationship is an important development towards us offering warranty solutions in all our markets. It is also central to CA Mobility Services’ catalogue of offers that we expand to support our customers and offer support to those who are moving towards electric mobility.” Stéphane Priami, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance.
