Opteven began its journey under the name of RAC France, a subsidiary of RAC plc. We became independent in 2009 and changed our name to Opteven in 2011. We’re an International Group who remain agile and responsive to our customers individual needs.

Opteven are a rapidly growing business thanks to our unique expertise. We are growing on an international scale and are currently present in five markets across the continent: France, UK, Italy, Spain and Germany. We also operate in a further 10 European countries.
Our customers range from independent dealers to OEM Manufacturers, but one thing that’s consistent is they value and appreciate our quality of service. Our unique expertise means we can grow and adapt with the mobility market, ensuring we’re responding to developments quickly.

Our strategy
Internationally we operate roadside assistance and mechanical breakdown recovery for a number of famous consumer and commercial brands. In the UK we administer warranty programmes for famous automotive brands, working to exceptional levels of service.
We also provide a suite of warranty and asset protection products to vehicle dealerships which they provide to buyers.
Our product strategy revolves around anticipating market trends, informed by our own analysis of the claims history we’ve accumulated over decades. We have also invested considerably in developing a policy management system for dealerships. We are constantly developing this to serve not only the independent dealers that provide our policies but also to serve our corporate customers, managing the policies provided within their approved used vehicle schemes.
